Helping Students Find Balance: A CalWORKs Club Leads to Academic & Workplace Success

Moreno Valley College CalWORKs Coordinator and student panel present their life- changing experience in a book-club style personal development group that teaches how past experiences effect current work/life balance.

Session 3, Wednesday, March 29, 10:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., Garden 2

The club focuses on CalWORKs students’ unique needs.  It assists students in maximizing self-discovery through reading, discussion, and examining how relational patterns effect interpersonal, school, and workplace success. The Club helps students improve self-esteem, self-worth, self-confidence, school, workplace, and familial relationships through self-discovery activities and emotional intelligence training.
