Findings from a RAND/AIR Evaluation on CalWORKs-Community College Collaboration

One aim of the Senate Bill (SB) 1041 reforms to the CalWORKs program is to provide participants more flexibility in work activity options, including participation in education programs.

This workshop will present findings from an independent evaluation of these reforms. Specifically, we will discuss lessons learned regarding CalWORKs-community college interactions and collaboration and offer recommendations for enhancing these relationships to improve services for CalWORKs participants who are community college students.
